Devlog #5: Bug Fixes, Explosions, and Boost Effects!

Hey, Pilots!
Back with another update for Skyborne Warriors! This time, I’ve been focusing on ironing out some bugs and improving the overall experience. Here’s what I’ve been working on:
- Explosion Bug Fix: I finally tackled the bug where the first explosion would cause the game to freeze momentarily. This was due to a loading issue, but after some optimization, explosions now trigger smoothly without halting the action.
- New Explosion Audio: Along with the bug fix, I’ve updated the explosion sound effect to something punchier and more satisfying. It really amps up the chaos in the heat of battle!
- GPU Particles for Player Boost: The player now uses GPU particles to simulate a boost effect when moving at high speeds. It gives a slick visual boost to the gameplay, making everything feel faster and more dynamic.
